The remains of the shipwreck were located and some artifacts were extracted, such as: navigational instruments, weapons, tools, ceramics, Colombian gold, Colombian emeralds, jewelry, Peruvian and Mexican silver and Venezuelan pearls. The artifacts were deposited at the Mel Fisher Maritime Heritage Society Museum.
